Tony and Ziva’ Trailer Released by Paramount+

Paramount+ is unveiling the newest corner of the NCIS-verse.

The streamer has released a trailer for NCIS: Tony and Ziva, which reunites Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo as they reprise their roles from the flagship CBS series. Paramount+ says the show will premiere in the fall, with a specific date still to be announced.

Ordered to series in February 2024, Tony and Ziva finds the two former NCIS agents living in Paris, where they reunited to raise their daughter after Ziva — who had been presumed dead — returned to complete a final mission for the agency (de Pablo left NCIS in 2013, returning for a guest arc in 2017; Weatherly departed as a regular in 2015). The action — which will be more serialized than other shows in the franchise — kicks off after Tony’s security company is attacked. He and Ziva go on the run across Europe to find out who’s after them and keep their unconventional family together. Watch the trailer below.

NCIS: Tony and Ziva also stars Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Julian Ovenden, Nassima Benchicou, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Terence Maynard and James D’Arcy. The series filmed in Budapest and other locations in the second half of 2024.

John McNamara (The Magicians, Trumbo) is the showrunner and executive produces with de Pablo, Weatherly, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, Shelley Meals and Mairzee Almas. Like the other current shows in the franchise — CBS’ NCIS, NCIS: Sydney and prequel NCIS: Origins — Tony and Ziva is produced by CBS Studios.

The trailer is also set to run on CBS during Monday’s season finale of NCIS.
