Dasha‘s had one whirlwind of a year.

In 2024, her single “Austin” nearly broke the internet. Twelve months later, and Dasha’s just days away from her Stagecoach debut.

“It’s so cool because these are my dreams coming true,” the country singer tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve always just been weirdly confident in [this path] even as a really young child… so for it to actually work out in the way I wanted has just been the most magical feeling in the entire world.”

But a rapid rise to fame doesn’t come without its obstacles. “Mental health-wise it’s been quite the challenge just to stay kind of okay as a person and deal with all the pressure… but overall it’s just been the most rewarding and insane year ever.”

In February 2025, Dasha celebrated her 25th birthday, marking the start of the artist’s official partnership with her all-time favorite spirit brand, Patrón. The singer’s go-to tequila helps commemorate her milestones — both big and small. “It’s really important to balance the pre-show steaming, the hot tea and the meditation with the celebration of like, ‘Oh my God, I just played Stagecoach‘… I always have [Patrón] backstage with me and we’re always, you know, toasting to that after the show — sometimes before the show.”

As for Dasha’s other festival essentials, she gave THR the full rundown. “First and foremost, a spray tan… second, a good pair of cowboy boots.” For knee-high boots, the singer’s go-to brand is Dan Post. Lucchese is her other favorite: “[They] are the most comfy [boots] I own, obviously, because it’s Lucchese.”

Hot tip from Dasha: always wear two pairs of socks when going to a festival: “Even if it’s a little tight in there, it’s worth it for the comfort.”

As for beauty, her holy trinity is sunscreen, waterproof mascara and “really sticky” setting spray: “You will sweat every ounce of your makeup off if you don’t have that… pretend like you’re going into battle, kind of.”

While she’ll be performing in a custom-made outfit by Victoria’s Secret Pink that she describes as “so me,” her go-to look the remainder of the festival will be “mini shorts, cowboy boots, a tank, a big belt, maybe a hat and maybe some braids.”

As for what’s next, Dasha gave THR confirmation that new music is currently in the works and will be coming out this summer. “This new project is so me, and I feel like because ‘Austin’ got so big last year, I almost, as an artist, got swallowed by it.” She continues, “So now, it’s this opportunity to be like, ‘Hey, that was me and here’s a whole new project of who I am, where I come from [and] what I represent.’ These songs are just so me-coded.”
