Critics Choice Awards: You’ll Be Enchanted By Cynthia Erivo and Taylor Swift’s Bond
Cynthia Erivo and Taylor Swift might just be taking a getaway car.
The Wicked actress—who is nominated for two Critics Choice Awards at the Feb. 7 ceremony for her work in the Broadway adaptation, including Best Actress and Best Acting Ensemble—reflected on attending the Grammys Feb. 2 and sharing more than just a special moment with the “Lavender Haze” singer.
“She waved me over,” Cynthia exclusively told E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi on the Critics Choice Awards red carpet Feb. 7. “I was a little late to sit in my seat. She was just like, ‘Come sit with me.’ And I was like, ‘OK, I’ll come sit with you.’”
In addition to sharing a chair during music’s biggest night, Taylor took the time to recreate the viral “Holding Space” meme with the Oscar nominee.
“She grabbed my finger, yes, she did,” Cynthia shared through laughter. “That night just was fun, full stop. That was definitely the best beginning I could possibly have asked for for a night like that.”
