Chelsea Handler is enjoying new love lately.
Two years after the comedian and Jo Koy announced their breakup following one year of dating, she revealed that she’s currently in a relationship with a mystery man.
“I’ve been down that road before with having a public relationship—my last relationship,” Chelsea told Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast Dec. 4 of her romance with her fellow comedian. “It’s more out of respect for their privacy. I don’t want him to have to be exposed to my world.”
While she didn’t identify her new boyfriend, she said that she met him “a long time ago” and they didn’t “become lovers” until a few months ago after inviting him on a trip to Mallorca with her friends.
She shared some details about him, however, adding, “He’s hot, he’s awesome and so caring.” The 49-year-old emphasized that he appreciates that her life is “pretty crazy” and that “he’s around” when she wants him to be.
