The Helix Dusk Luxe has an MSRP of $2,373.33 for a queen, but an evergreen 20% off Helix mattress sale knocks it down it $1,899. Around major mattress sales days Helix regularly increases the discount to 25%, and sometimes even 27% or 30% off (although the biggest saving is increasingly rare.) You’ll always get a free pillow set with your purchase, and can even claim a free bedding set on special occasions.
Saatva mattress sales are semi-regular, but less predictable. The queen Classic has an MSRP of $2,099 and it frequently sells for that price. The most common Saatve deal is a tiered discount, with the saving increasing as the sizes (and prices) go up. But our favorite sale on the Classic is $400 off all sizes, which only happens on major sales days. Look out for the 15% off flash sale as well.
Saatva sales might be variable, but the benefits are reliably good. All Saatva mattresses come with a 365-night sleep trial and a forever warranty, plus free white glove delivery. The Dusk Luxe, on the other hand, has a lifetime warranty but only a 100-night trial (standard, but it lags behind Saatva.) While Helix offers free standard delivery, you have to pay extra for white glove. However, Helix returns are free — Saatva charges $99.

The best hybrid mattresses use springs and foams to create support while aiding pressure relief. Both the Dusk Luxe and Classic follow this basic design, so let’s break down the exact construction of these hybrid beds.
The Helix Dusk Luxe mattress features multiple layers of foam for upper cushioning. A quilted cover is followed by a layer of response foam, then a layer of support foam and a layer of transition foam. Underneath this sits a coil layer, with reinforced support at the lumbar region and around the edges. A final layer of dense foam aids stability and durability.
The Classic, on the other hand, has a spring-heavy design. The three-inch quilted pillow-top sits above a zoned lumbar support foam. This is followed by a responsive coil layer and, underneath, a second coil layer to provide support. Foam railings are used around the perimeter of the mattress to enhance edge support.
One final note: the Helix Dusk Luxe is a boxed bed. It’s flattened and rolled before delivery, but like all the best mattresses in a box, once unrolled it quickly expands to its original shape. The Saatva Classic is a traditional mattress and is delivered flat.

Helix designs mattresses to suit sleep styles, and the Dusk Luxe has been created for back and stomach sleepers. But unlike many of the best mattresses for stomach sleepers, it doesn’t rely on an ultra-firm feel to build support.
Instead, the Dusk Luxe pairs a sturdy spring base with multiple foam layers, creating cushioned support that holds the lumbar region aloft while relieving pressure at the hips. In our Helix Dusk Luxe Mattress review we found it highly comfortable for back and stomach sleeping, but it lacks contouring for side sleeping. While the Dusk Luxe is tailored to certain sleep positions, the Saatva Classic can suit everyone. That’s because it’s available in three firmness levels and two heights, giving it a broad appeal.
In our Saatva Classic Mattress review we tested the 11.5-inch tall mattress in a Luxury Firm feel and found it comfortable in all sleeping positions. While dedicated side sleepers might prefer the Plush and stomach sleepers might enjoy the Firm, we recommend the Luxury Firm to combination sleepers and bed sharers.
And the impressive motion isolation is another box ticked for couples when it comes to the Saatva Classic. Despite a bouncy double spring layer, we found the Classic successfully trapped movement, so you can’t feel your partner tossing and turning. The Helix Dusk Luxe also scored well in this area.
But the Classic distinguishes itself when it comes to edge support. This mattress is strong across the perimeter, allowing you to sit on the sides without losing support. The Dusk Luxe doesn’t have bad edge support, but weaker corners means it trails behind the Classic.
Helix Dusk Luxe vs Saatva Classic Mattress: Temperature regulation

When a mattress holds onto heat it can disrupt sleep quality and result in sweaty, uncomfortable mornings. The best cooling mattresses use a variety of tricks to keep temperatures down, but the Saatva Classic has a comparably cooling design due to the breathable feel of this spring-heavy build.
The Helix Dusk Luxe Mattress also uses springs for air flow, but while our testing team were comfortable overnight, the standard Tencel cover can sleep slightly warm. The temperature regulation improves significantly if you upgrade to the GlacioTex cooling cover, but this also adds around an extra $200 to the final price.

✅ You want the convenience of a boxed mattress: You can pay to upgrade to white glove delivery for the Helix Dusk Luxe, but set-up is easy if you opt for traditional delivery. The mattress is rolled up and sent to your door.
✅ You want extra support with cushioning: Back and stomach sleepers can sometimes feel limited to mattresses that are all support, no pressure relief. But the thick quilted cover of the Dusk Luxe provides both cushioning and support.
Buy the Saatva Classic Mattress if…
✅ You sleep on your side: The Luxury Firm Saatva Classic we tested is comfortable for side sleepers, but if you have a lighter build you might want to consider the Plush Soft. Without much sink, the Dusk Luxe lacks pressure relief for side sleeping.
✅ You sleep hot: While the Saatva Classic might not be a specialist cooling mattress, the spring-heavy build gives it a breathable feel that keeps temperatures down. The Dusk Luxe doesn’t trap much heat, but if you sleep warm we recommend upgrading to the GlacioTex cover.
