Kendrick Lamar continues to prove no one’s like him.
After all, the “Not Like Us” artist is leading the 2025 American Music Awards nominations, boasting an impressive ten nods.
Some of the categories in which Kendrick has been nominated include Artist of the Year, Favorite Hip-Hop Male Artist—which also features his rival Drake as a nominee—as well as Favorite Hip-Hop Song, for which three of the five nominated songs are his.
And, if Kendrick wins in all eight categories, he will tie with Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for the most AMAs won in a single year.
The 37-year-old finds himself in good company among this year’s top nominees: he’s followed closely behind by Post Malone, who has earned eight nominations, Billie Eilish and first-time nominees Chappell Roan and Shaboozey with seven apiece.
Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA and Taylor Swift follow with six nominations and, should Taylor win in any of her categories, she’ll add to her record-setting 40 wins.
In addition to Chappell and Shaboozey, other first-time nominees include Doechii, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Lola Young and Benson Boone.
